Stepháne Kox in European GT4 Northern Cup on KTM X-Bow

The 2017 season continues within the European GT4 Northern Cup with yet another International line-up.

The successful “REITER YOUNG STARS” programme, which provides young talents – Race pilots as well as young students – a step into professional GT motorsport, will kick off its second season in Misano, Italy this weekend.

16 young male and female race drivers as well as 24 representatives from 8 leading European universities will form into 8 teams. Partners such as KTM, Holinger Europe, Kiska, WP, Pankl, InternetX and True racing, will support the teams during 5 of the European GT4 Northern Cup events where the teams will compete against one another on their identical KTM X-Bow GT4 race cars.

Reiter Engineering owner and “Young Stars” founder, Hans Reiter, looks forward to an exciting motorsport season ahead: “Our all round learning concept, which is not only targeted at young drivers but also future Engineers and Marketers, will bring even more dynamic to the ever growing European GT4 field. We have put together many motivated & extremely fast young people and I’m convinced that their competitors will have strong competition on their hands!”

Furthermore, the driver line-up promises and extremely high level for the 2017 Reiter Young Stars cup as well as some well known names: with Jonathan Cecotto (VEN), or Stephane Kox (NL) the son and daughter of motorsports legends Johnny Cecotto and Peter Kox.
