Dutchwoman Stéphane Kox has already set the course for her future in motorsports. The 19-year old is going to contest the 2013 season of the ADAC Formula Masters for KUG Motorsport (DEU). Her new car will be a Dallara with a 145hp Volkswagen engine and a weight of only 570 kg incl. driver.

Her leap into the ADAC series for new talents is a consistent step after her earlier success in karting. She won the 2009 Rotax Max Winter Championship and secured the second place in the Dutch Championship. Last year she took part in the Supercar Challenge, sharing a Mini with her father, Peter Kox - a very successful race driver. She also completed two guest stints in the KTM X-Bow Battle at the Hockenheimring, where she took the wheel of a KTM X-Bow with Dennis Retera, another successful Dutch race driver.

Stéphane and her new team from Germany completed several test sessions in order to make herself familiar with the Dallara. “Sitting in a Formula car is a big transition for me. Compared to the kart, driving a Formula Masters car requires a lot more strength and endurance. But it is a lot of fun and I love the speed. I exercise regularly with my Dad, in order to improve my physical strength and endurance”, describes Stéphane Kox her first impressions of the test at the Hockenheimring.
